Start your tour at the majestic Royal Palace where, accompanied by your guide, you can immerse yourself in its fascinating history. This impressive building, twice the size of Buckingham Palace, was the official residence of the Spanish Monarchy from 1766 to 1931. Built in a splendid Italian Baroque style, today it is still the venue for royal receptions and important ceremonies. After visiting the Royal Palace, walk into the charming Literary Quarter, a historic area full of life, cobblestone streets and reminders of Spanish literary greats such as Cervantes, Quevedo and Lope de Vega. This neighbourhood, full of charm, will take you to your next stop: the Prado Museum.
