Tikal is the largest excavated site in the American continent and contains some of the most fascinating archaeological remains of the ancient Maya civilization. It is Guatemala's most famous cultural and natural preserve and was declared a national park in 1955 and a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1979.
Our Guide/Driver will meet at the starting point or pick you up at your hotel. He will assist you with the borders crossing. Once you are at Tikal you will visit it for about 4 hours with an excellent guided tour. We will visit Complex Q and R, Main Plaza, Temple 3, Temple 4 and the most impressive The Lost world Complex. Lunch will be included within the National Park. After lunch you will return back to the Border and again our guide will assist you with the borders crossing then you will be drop off at your Hotel around San Ignacio Town. All the time you will be with an english speaking guide.
