The Yaxha archaeological & Sunset tour is a most do tour of the area. Our expert tour guide will meet you at your accommodation at Flores or El Remate. Then you will drive for 2 hours to Yaxha site but along the way a 45 minutes stop for a delicious lunch on a Local restaurante where you will have 5 choices of meals that are prepared with local ingredients. Upon arrival to Yaxha site a 2.5 hours guided tour will be provided with interesting information of archaeology, history, flora and fauna. You will have time to climb different temples and pyramids. To finish the visit of the site, the guide will climb with you the temple of the Red Hands (temple 216) a very friendly climb. From the top of the temple you will see one of the most wonderful views of miles of green jungle, lakes, other temples, wildlife and lot of chances to see an incredible sunset behind the lake Yaxha. After the Sunset we will walk for 10 minutes and then drive back for about 2 hours to your accommodation in Flores or El Remate.
This will be a quick stop along the way to Yaxha site. Our expert tour guide will stop and explain the beautiful lake of Macanche surrounded with green jungle and a small village.
