Stop 1 Pass by

Cycling through the most picturesque neighborhood of Athens Plaka, is a great way to start the tour to the coast.

Stop 2

We make our first small stop at a beautiful location overlooking to the ruins of the Roman Agora of Athens, seeing monuments like the Tower of the Winds which is considered as the world's first meteorological station, the Gate of Athena Archegetis and the Fetiye Mosque.

Stop 3

Admire the Tower of the Winds, this spectacular octagonal building that was a meteorological station in the roman times.

Stop 4

While you are admiring the buildings of the Roman Agora you will also notice the impressive Fethiye Mosque surviving from the Ottoman times.

Stop 5

We continue our ride through the ancient path that crosses the Ancient Agora of Athens, the administration and commercial center and the heart of the ancient city of Athens. There you can see among others the Byzantine Church of the Holy Apostles, the Temple of Hephaestus and the Stoa of Attalos.

As we are riding on an ancient path we see this splendid little Orthodox Church of the Holy Apostles from the Byzantine times.

We also see the very well preserved ancient Temple of Hephaestus.

A 5 minute stop in order to marvel the temple from afar and take pictures

As soon as you cycle outside the path of the Ancient Agora you have in front of you one of the nicest open air cinemas of Athens, that has been around since 1935, Cine Thision.

Check out the Stoa of Attalos in the Ancient Agora that houses the Museum of the Agora.

After cycling through neighborhoods of Athens on a great bike lane, we reach the spectacular building of Stavros Niarhos Cultural Center designed by the world famous Architect Renzo Piano.

We cross the limits of the ancient city, passing the Keramikos Archaeological Site that includes ruins of the potter's quarter of ancient Athens, the ancient Keramikos Cemetery and the ancient walls of the city.

Admire the impressive Battleship Averof that was used in historical wars like the Balkan Wars, WW1 and even WW2, as well as Olympias a reconstruction of an ancient trireme.

Enjoy the Athenian beach life in Kalamaki beach! You will have free time to explore, have a refreshing drink or even have a swim!

We get to see the New Library of Athens with its green rooftop, part of the SNFCC.

While cycling back we pass through the beautiful neighborhood of Thissio. We are riding on a beautiful cobbled street and we are getting a taste of the Athenian outdoor lifestyle.

We make our last stop in front of the west entrance of the Acropolis and we see this breathtaking monument from one more viewpoint.

Cycle through the beautiful Flisvos Marina where the luxurious speed boats and yachts are docked.

Meeting point

The meeting point is 60m from the "Acropolis" metro station, at Athanasiou Diakou 16 Street & Syggrou Avenue, 11742 Athens.(link).
When using Google or Apple Maps, be sure to include the postal code 11742 to locate us correctly. Piraeus port is about 40 minutes by taxi depending on the traffic.
