About this experience

Excursion to the Mtiuleti region, along the Georgian Military Highway, the village of Stepantsminda, to the pearl of the Caucasus Mountains - Mount Kazbegi. Trekking to the Church of the Gergeti Trinity located at an altitude of 2,170 m at the foot of Kazbek, right above the Stepantsminda.

Built in the XIV century, the sanctity is the only cross-domed churchmonastery in the area of Hevi.

On the way we will, visit the Ananuri fortress, on the shore of the lake Zhinvali.

Ananuri - belonged to one of the strongest feudal clans of late medieval Georgia - Aragvi Eristavs. The fortress belongs to the early feudal era, and served as an outpost of defense, blocking the road leading from the Daryal gorge to the Caucasian mountains.

Full day excursion to the pearl of the Caucasus Mountains - Mount Kazbegi. Trekking to the Church of the Gergeti Trinity (3 km). On the way, visit the Ananuri Fortress, Lake Zhinvali and the ski resort Gudauri. Rooms Hotel Kazbegi 4 * lunch (oprional).

Gudauri is a ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. Gudauri is Georgia's most renowned site for speed riding and paragliding. Experienced instructors are employed to accompany customers in the said activities. When it is not skiing season, visitors are enjoying beautiful views from there.
