Besides the pandas,Chengdu is known as its relaxed life style: numerous tea houses and hot pot restaurants are all over the streets.On this half day tour, we will take you to walk around a tea market and learn how to differentiate oolong, green, black, white and pu-er tea and get to know the good effects of drinking different kinds of tea in a tea house, to go to Wenshuyuan area to taste different kinds of local snacks, hence let you touch the real life of Chengdu.

The Wukuaishi Tea Market houses entire alleys dedicated to almost every spice known to man. Beyond the tea pavilions, you’ll discover everything from buckwheats to green roasted delicacies from private mountains in neighbouring provinces. Friendly shop owners are happy to pour you cup after cup of every variety on offer. You can also pick up cheap tea sets as well as a smorgasbord of souvenirs
The architecture around Wenshu Community is of an old Chinese style. The famous Wenshu Monastery is located here, where many intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and antique shops in Chengdu are housed. Chengdu's well loved foods and snacks can also be found here.
Local snacks will be arranged for the lunch while walking around this area, and an afternoon tea break will also will be arranged in the courtyard. Tour will be ends here after our food exploration in this area.
