Early in the morning We will drive about 1.5 hours to Dujiangyan Panda Base. We spend whole morning walking around this area to see different pandas playing in the enclosures or on the trees.
Before our afternoon hike in the mountain, we will go to nearby tea house to enjoy a Chinese Tea Ceremony for a break, and then we will start our hike. The mountain is great for a half day trip. Trekking up and down the mountain takes around 3-4 hours to complete depending on your hiking speed. The hike takes you up the mountain and through many different Taoist temples. We will choose the cable car up and down which makes our hiking much more easier.
Once we get to the top, you may find the view is pretty amazing from Laojun Pavilion. You can see Mount Qingcheng’s many different peaks and neighboring temples in the distance.
