About this experience

Travel easy and fun between Arenal and Monteverde on this Arenal Lake Crossing experience. This is the quickest and most popular route. The trip combines a comfortable door-to-door minivan transfer with a fun and scenic cruise across the beautiful Lake Arenal, where you will experience amazing views of the majestic Arenal Volcano.

We will gladly pick you up from your hotel, then you will get transported by vehicle to the lake and then board a boat for approximately one hour to cross the lake. Once you reach the other side, one of our professional drivers will take you to your hotel.

All the vehicles are air-conditioned, well-maintained, and driven by reliable and punctual Costa Rican professionals, who are eager to help you move safely around the country.

This price applies from 1 to 6 passengers (for additional passengers, please contact us).

Private transports include a courtesy waiting hour at the pickup location or to make a stop on route, giving your group opportunities to pose for photographs, take bathroom breaks, or enjoy a meal.. After this time we will charge $20.00 per extra hour of waiting.

Rates are subject to change without notice in case the customer requests alternate route changes or stops on the way.

• Please be ready 15 minutes before the confirmed pickup time.
• Please provide the drop off location.
• Sometimes a particular hotel is located outside the area’s main hotel zone, and the shuttle will not provide door-to-door service. In these cases, a taxi can take you and your group to the shuttle pickup location or your final hotel stop.
• The pickup time may vary without notice depending on road traffic and other pick-ups.
• The driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes at the pickup location for a passenger traveling on shared shuttles. If passenger doesn't show 10 minutes passed the pickup time they will be considered No Show and 100% of the service will be charged.
