The route is a safe off road cycle track 43 km. ( 27 miles) from Westport to Achill Island on the wild Atlantic way, it
travels through Newport& Mullranny then across the bog lands along the Achill coast. to Achill sound on arrival
Park and lock bikes at the Achill Island Hotel.
Visit the hotels bar & restaurant with its stunning views over Achill sound fantastic local food and a great place to relax and wait for the bus
Return to Westport, just walk 500m across the bridge up to the church and take bus back to Westport at 3pm or 5pm. (4pm sundays)
