The horrors of war can never be felt unless the actual stories are retold. Our tour will bring some of the unfortunate moments back to life as we drive towards the once UN protected enclave of Srebrenica where more than 8,000 unarmed civilian men and boys faced their fate. On the way our specialised tour guide will retell the role and causes of the Srebrenica genocide in the bigger picture of the Bosnian conflict. We will also visit the memorial centre dedicated to the genocide victims where a survivor will narrate his experiences and the facts, with a video presentation that follows. We will also pay a visit to the cemetery where the victims of Europe’s first genocide since WWII rest in peace. Then our trip leads us to the town itself where you get to see how the locals live there today.
And on the way back to Sarajevo we will talk about life in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our office is a meeting point. We can also pick you up from your accommodation.
