About this experience

Cheesemaking, traditional lunch, wine tasting and hiking on the Ezerjó wine route to Csókakő castle.
On this gastro trip you will have the opportunity to make your own cheese. Everybody makes 25-30kg cheese to his or her taste which can be brought back home at the end of the day. You will have an insight into a family winery on the Ezerjó wine route, we will taste delicious wines and local flavors.
The tour give an insight into the farming, meat packing and dairy processing.

The tour includes 2-course substantial traditional Hungarian lunch.
The hosts offer juices, sparkling water and wine with the lunch.
➢Walk from the farm to the Csókakő castle (3 kilometres).
➢ Following the visit to the castle and walking along the Ezerjó Wine Route we return to the Sáfrán winery where you will have a wine tasting.

Orondpuszta is a farm located just outside Csákberény, at the foot of the Vértes Hills. The Orond farm focuses mainly on raising Hungarian Fleckvieh cows and on dairy processing. Their main speciality is the Gomolya cheese which we can make with various flavours.

The Csókakő castle was built around 1299 was recently renovated. The castle offers a splendid view over the Csókakő town and the Mór trench
