At 8:00 am or 14:00 pm: Our tour guide will meet you at the hotel and start the tour by cycling to Hoi An central market or Ba Le market. Here, we will learn how to choose the good and fresh ingredients to be used in our cooking lesson.
As you know, market is not the place where the locals sell and buy things, but also the community where they can see and chat with their friends.
We will see many kinds of goods, fruits, souvenirs, and animals. Market is the perfect place to learn how to bargain.
After the market, we continue to cycle to Tra Que vegetable village, the place where we will learn how to cook and compete with each other to become a new local MASTER CHEF.
At the village, we will be welcomed by a local welcome drink. Take a short break, we will go with a local farmer to visit the village with many kinds of herbs, vegetables, and fruits.
Learning how to do some farming works, wearing farming clothes to do some light works with the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, no electrical machinery here.
Going back to the local farmer’s house, we start the Cooking class to learn how to cook some specialities such as: Tra Que vegetable salad Tam Huu, Vietnamese rice pancakes, fried spring rolls. At the end of the cooking course, the local master chef will tell you who would be the winner. We will enjoy what we have just cooked as lunch.
Finishing the tour by having a foot massage, made from local herbal medicines.
