Phase 1: Lusaka International Airport – Lusaka - Lower Zambezi National Park – Return to Lusaka
Phase 2 : Lusaka - Kafue National Park – central & northern regions - Return to Lusaka.
Phase 3: Lusaka (flight) to Mfuwe - Southern Luangwa National Park - Mfuwe airport (end of tour).
Day 2 - Lusaka to Chirundu town en route to Lower Zambezi (192km)
Rise early for breakfast and be driven through Lusaka and down the escarpment to the Zambezi Valley.
Upon arriving, you will check-in at Mvuu Lodge and camp site or similar accommodation facility.
18:00 pm - Evening relaxation
19:30 pm – Dinner.
21:30 pm – Early sleep
Notes: Kindly be advised that you may be accommodated at different lodge other than Mvuu lodge and campsite when visiting the Lower Zambezi National Park. Your comfort will always be given high consideration whenever choosing an alternative accommodation for you.
Visiting the Lower Zambezi Park will be one of the highlights of your trip in Zambia. The Zambezi River on one side and the escarpment on the other form a wonderful backdrop for your game viewing. We can also take you on amazing game drives through the park. Your overnight stay will be in chalets at Lower Zambezi Lodge (or similar) on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Off the beaten track, the little-visited Kafue National Park is enormous, with thriving herds on the plains including the majestic sable, stalked by lion, leopard and wild dog. No Wildlife Zambia safari would be complete without a visit to Kafue National Park, one of Africa’s largest parks and especially good for spotting a variety of wildlife!
Visiting the South Luangwa National Park, a world-renowned wildlife haven will be the highlight of your safari trip to Zambia.
