Our Full Day Safari in Akagera National Park combines both the Game Drive and Sunrise Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema. This tour is purposely designed and operated as an ideal opportunity for travellers to experience the savannahs in search of the Africa’s Big Five Animals: Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhinocero, and a sunrise guided boat excursion to view aquatic wildlife as well as water birds. As you drive through this safari park from the southern gate to the northern gate, enjoy the beauty of one of Africa’s finest wildlife sanctuaries, beautiful views of the hills majestically rolling down sights and capture memorable photographs of iconic species such as elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and hundreds of bird species. Lunch break will be taken from Mihindi Picnic Area as you cool off and refresh before restarting your adventure. When this tour is finished, travel back to Kigali. Drop-off at your point of choice.
