About this experience
This is a great chance to meet an unknown Lefkada, ideally for adventurous people, who like wildlife and mountains and are at least a bit familiar with hiking. We will lead you through the narrow footpaths straight up to the top of the mountain. After that, you will definitely sense the taste of victory and will get a deeper touch with the local nature and history.
The guide is a local Greek with a passion and experience in trekking and hiking and is a professional photographer as well. He will capture the best moments of your journey. After the tour, you will receive 20 pictures of your adventure moments.
Please, don`t forget to take your backpacks. Long pants and sports shoes are required for the tour. You can also take with you some fresh clothes for the way back. Optionally feel free to bring your isotonic drinks.

We meet our guests at the main square of Karya village, heading off to the mountain path, that will lead us to the top of the mountain. On our way, we will pass an abandoned village with a picturesque view and will enjoy the natural landscapes of mountainous Lefkada.

Next stop is Stavrota Peak of Elati mountain, where we will find a cosmic landscape of a sand valley.

We continue our adventure reaching the mountainous Englouvi village. From there we will head off back to Karya, where we will have a home-made lunch with BBQ at one of the best house rentals of Lefkada, the Karya Traditional Cottage.
