About this experience

The journey from Arusha to Ngorongoro is much longer compared to Tarangire or Manyara, nevertheless, you will be thankful for the early start and late finish as you are adapting to the conservation gorgeous views and diverse wildlife.

Stop 1

You will depart from your hotel in Arusha at dawn for a long, but beautiful drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, if you're lucky, you'll come across occasional wildebeest, elephant, or giraffe.

On arrival at the conservation, you will check-in and then begin a curving descent into the crater. You will then stop at the viewing point for a spectacular and breathtaking view of the crater.

Ngorongoro is the best park to spot all the big five and the black rhinoceros. You will also see large packs of hyenas as well as other lesser predators such as jackals and serval cats.

Later on, you can enjoy a picnic lunch near the mighty hippo pool and watch the hippos wallowing in the cool water just a few feet away from you. The experience is amazing, and you will see the very best that Ngorongoro has to offer, with memories that will last a lifetime. Afterwards, you will return to Arusha.
