7:00 AM: Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Madurai. Make sure you have everything you need for the day and settle into the comfortable vehicle for your journey.

7:00 AM - 10:00 AM: The journey to Trichy takes approximately 3 hours, during which you can enjoy the scenic views of rural Tamil Nadu. Your driver will take the most efficient route to reach Trichy in a timely and safe manner.

10:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Your first stop in Trichy will be at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, one of the most iconic and important temples in South India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is spread over a vast area of 156 acres. As you enter the temple, you'll be greeted by the towering gopurams, intricately carved pillars, and colorful sculptures. The temple has 22 gopurams, each with its own unique design and history. The main gopuram, also known as the Rajagopuram, is the tallest in India, standing at a height of 72 meters with 13 storeys. You'll have plenty of time to explore the temple complex, learn about its history and significance, and take in the magnificent architecture.

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: After the temple visit, you'll head to Rock Fort Temple, which is located on a 83-meter-high rock formation. The rock is one of the oldest in the world and is estimated to be around 3.8 billion years old, making it older than the Himalayas. As you drive to the temple, your driver will share some interesting facts about the rock and its history. You'll also get to enjoy the scenic views of the city from the top of the rock.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Upon reaching the Rock Fort Temple, you'll climb the steps to reach the top of the rock. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has a history that dates back to the 7th century. From the top of the rock, you'll have a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Your guide will share more information about the history of the temple and the rock formation.
