Mud Volcano - Azerbaijan or as it is called here the Land of Fire has the highest number of mud volcanoes in the world. Some 350 out of over 1,000 mud volcanoes in the world are located here. Mood Volcanos are very effective for health and you can take a bath there.
Gobustan State Historical-Artistic Reserve - Gobustan National Park officially Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a hill and mountain site occupying the southeast end of the Greater Caucasus mountain ridge. It is located west of the settlement of Gobustan, about 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Baku city centre on the west bank of the Caspian Sea.
On the way to the Hotel, you will also visit the Bibiheybet Mosque, with magnificent green internal decorative beauty and the First Industrial Oil Well on the Earth that was opened for use in 1846. The car will drop you at the hotel or any desired place in the City.
The trip will start at 10 or 11 am. We will go to the Heydar Aliyev centre. Will be there for approximately 2 hours. Then we will visit Ateshgah fire temple and Yanardag. Ateshgah Temple – The temple of fire worshippers Ateshgah is located at the Absheron peninsula on the outskirts of Surakhani village 30 km from the centre of Baku and was revered in different times by Zoroastrians, Hindus and Sikhs. This territory is known for such unique natural phenomena as burning natural gas outlets (underground gas coming onto the surface contacts oxygen and lights up). The temple in its present state was constructed in the 17th-18th centuries. It was built by the Baku-based Hindu community related to Sikhs. The pentagonal complex has an open courtyard with a temple-altar in the centre which was the place of pilgrimage for worshippers.
