Let yourself be captivated by the magic of the Valnerina, a land where Umbrian nature reveals its most authentic and wild side. Here, among fragrant woods, crystal-clear waters, and the ancient sounds of the river, you’ll enjoy an experience that speaks to the heart and the senses.

After a brief meeting with your guide, a small group of people, and a strong desire for adventure, you’ll set off aboard a rubber dinghy along the Nera River, lulled by the rhythm of the water and the sound of birdsong.

The gentle, lively currents will be the path you will have to follow: a short course in natural survival to learn to read the river, to move in harmony with it, to feel the strength and calm that only water can convey.

2

Once you reach the shore, a moment all your own awaits, away from everything and everyone: a private outdoor barbecue, in a corner of paradise on the banks of the Nera River. The scent of the embers, the rustling of the leaves, the sound of the river, and the authentic flavors of Umbria will make lunch an unforgettable sensory experience.
Lunch menu: Typical Umbrian appetizer, mixed grill of sausages and steaks, salad with fresh vegetables, water, wine, and soft drinks.

3

After lunch, the journey continues with a thrilling experience: we’ll provide you with tickets for a self-guided visit to the majestic Marmore Falls, the highest man-made waterfalls in Europe. The roar of the water crashing into the valley, the cool mist on your face, and the play of light amidst the spray will provide a spectacular finale. The Marmore Falls offers numerous trails of varying difficulty for trekking and nature lovers. The trails are well-marked, and in about forty minutes you can climb from the lower to the upper lookout point, enjoying splendid views of the waterfall from various perspectives.
