Starting in Nazaré, we will then head to Tomar, a city steeped in history that is home to the magnificent Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 12th century.

Our next stop is the charming town of Fátima, a significant pilgrimage site for Catholics worldwide. Here, we will visit the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of Fátima. We will then discover the remarkable Monastery of Batalha, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire its Gothic architecture and intricate stonework. Our tour will also take us to the impressive Alcobaça Monastery.
Finally, we will stroll through the enchanting medieval town of Óbidos, renowned for its whitewashed houses, and picturesque castle walls.

We will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary which was built to commemorate the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the Three Little Shepherds. On the other side stands the newly built Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, the fourth largest Catholic temple in the world in capacity.

His exceptional architectural ensemble is the result of the fulfillment of a promise made by King João I of Portugal in gratitude for the victory in Aljubarrota, a battle fought on August 14th, 1385, which secured the throne and guaranteed the independence of Portugal.
It is one of the most beautiful works of Gothic and Manueline architecture.
Nowadays, Batalha Monastery is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

World Heritage by UNESCO. Work on this 12th-century monument began in 1178 and lasted for 100 years, going through several stages of construction.
The Monastery of Alcobaça is known for its impressive Gothic architecture and the greatest love story in the history of Portugal – the tragic passion of D. Pedro and D. Inês de Castro.

Óbidos is one of the most perfect examples of our medieval fortress. It s in olden times, the town is entered through the southern gate of Santa Maria, embellished with eighteenth-century azulejo decoration. Inside the walls, which at sunset take on a golden colouring, one can sense a cheerful medieval ambience of winding streets, old whitewashed houses bordered with blue or yellow, Manueline embrasures and windows, reminding us that King D. Manuel I (sixteenth century) carried out major works here, and masses of colourful flowers and plants.
