We will pick you up from your hotel or meet you outside Argana Café at 9:00 AM, before embarking on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the heart of the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Imlil (1,740m), where our hiking adventure begins.
From Imlil, we’ll hike through the beautiful Toubkal National Park, winding between pine and juniper trees as we ascend to the Isk summit (2,600m). The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views, including Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, and its neighboring summits. You’ll also enjoy sweeping views of Berber villages and valleys from the top—serene and awe-inspiring.
At the summit, we’ll relax and have a picnic while soaking in the unforgettable scenery. Afterward, we’ll descend via a different trail, passing through the scenic Tidli Plateau, before returning to Imlil to meet our driver for the ride back to Marrakech.
This trek includes approximately 850m of ascent and descent, with around 5 hours of total hiking. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the region's nature and culture. We aim to return to Marrakech around 6:00 PM.
This is a unique and rewarding adventure you won’t want to miss!
note: Bring a jacket, trainers, and warm clothing suitable for the cold season from October to April. If you’re missing any essentials, rental options are available in Imlil before the hike.
