This experience starts early at 5:00 AM with hotel pickup in the Ubud area. Please be ready and waiting at your hotel lobby before departure time.
Our first stop is a scenic café in Kintamani with one of the best panoramic sunrise views of Mount Batur. Here, guests can order their own breakfast (food and drinks are not included in the experience price). The café offers a range of local and international breakfast options and hot drinks at reasonable prices.
Weather in Kintamani can be cool and breezy in the morning—bring a jacket or warm layer to stay comfortable during sunrise.
The tour involves moderate walking through rice terraces, temple areas, and village paths. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
For temple visits, guests must wear modest clothing (shoulders and knees covered). A sarong will be provided for Tirta Empul Temple.
If you plan to join the purification ritual (melukat) at Tirta Empul, please bring a change of clothes or wear something that can get wet.
This experience is not suitable for infants or travelers with limited mobility, as some sites include uneven ground and stairs.
The experience runs rain or shine. Bring a hat, sunscreen, or rain jacket, depending on the season.
Important cultural note: In Balinese Hindu tradition, women who are menstruating are not permitted to enter temple areas or participate in purification rituals (melukat) out of respect for the sanctity of these sacred spaces. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in honoring this tradition during our visit to Tirta Empul Temple.
