Palatine Hill is one of the seven hills of Rome and is said to be the birthplace of Rome, according to legend, it was actually where Romulus, the founder of Rome, built his city. However, Palatine Hill served as the residence of Rome's Emperors, not where they lived in opulent luxury. The Emperor's actual palace, known as the Domus Aurea or Golden House, was built by Emperor Nero after a devastating fire in 64 CE. The Palatine Hill did house several Imperial palaces and residences, including the Palace of Domitian and the Palace of Septimius Severus, but not the grand Domus Aurea.

The Underground tickets are nominative and will show the visitor's personal data. Please note that these tickets are nominative for each participant and it will not be possible to change the name after the purchase. In case of mismatch with the identity document, access to the Colosseum will not be allowed and no refund will be given.
Meeting point
From the metro station Colosseo, turn right on Via Dei Fori Imperiali and go straight to the first traffic light then, turn right on Via Cavour and turn left on the second street. You will find the agency Italy in Love Tours on Via del Cardello 31.
