In this tour we will talk about the true culture and history of the island, creating a combination between the ancient Sardinian history and the contemporary one. We will admire the uniqueness of the nuragic complex "Su Nuraxi", a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Casa Zapata house museum.
We will introduce you to the thousand-year-old tradition of wine, visiting one of the most beautiful Sardinian wineries and letting you taste 3 magnificent wines accompanied by local products.
To make the tour experience complete, a traditional Sardinian light lunch will be offered, with local seasonal products. An opportunity to share the flavors of this land together
Our first stop will be Su Nuraxi, the most representative nuragic complex among compound nuraghi, i.e. those consisting of more than one tower. Due to its uniqueness it became part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
A few minutes from the Su Nuraxi complex, inside the town of Barumini, there is the "Casa Zapata" site, a wonderful residence built by the noble Aragonese Zapata family starting from the end of the 16th century. In 1990, restoration works brought to light an imposing complex nuraghe under the palace structures.
We will open the doors of our cellars to tell you how our organic wines that speak of Sardinia are born. You will admire up close the steel containers that allow us to enhance the primary aromas of our Vermentino, the tonneaux that cradle our Cannonau Riserva for twenty-four months. We will arrive in the evocative rooms where, through the Amphorae of Georgia and Impruneta, the wines are produced as in antiquity but with millennia of experience. The tour will end on our panoramic terrace with a guided tasting of three wines, together with the EVO oil of our production accompanied by selected local products.
To make the experience complete, a traditional Sardinian light lunch will be combined with local seasonal products. An opportunity to share the flavors of this land together combined with the tasting of our organic wines.
