Fort Lovrijenac is built at 30m high rock. Once, soldiers were watching for arrival of Venetians ships to alarm city guard, today it is one of the most popular places for performing Shakespeare`s dramas. If you are choosen to perform Hamlet here, you are going to end as world famous actor 100%

Stop 2

Stradun or Plaza, the main street of Dubrovnik. It is 300m long, divides the town to the northern and the southern part and is the fastest connection between Ploce gate and Pile gate, the eastern and the western entrance to town. You will walk along this beautiful street while our guide is telling you the story about Dubrovnik water system, first orphanage and the great earthquake that hit Dubrovnik in 1667.

The most imported square for all the residents of Dubrovnik, place where everything is happening. Concerts and Opening ceremony of Dubrovnik Summer Festival, proclamations and aclamations...this is the place. Surrounded by Sponza palace, former tax house of Dubrovnik Republic, Bell tower and St. Blaise Church, church of our savior. Here you will hear about tax system of the Republic and why St. Blaise become the patron of Dubrovnik.

Rector`s Palace is one of the most beautiful sights of Dubrovnik. This is the place where Head of Dubrovnik, the Rector was situated when elected (Dubrovnik was aristocratic republic). Here you will learn about Dubrovnik political system and hear some of the reasons why they succeed to exist as an independent republic for more then 500 years.

This is our last stop. Gundulic Square is multifunctional area, early in the morning it is the green market of Dubrovnik, then place where you can by handmade souvenirs and products of local manufacturers and in the evening becomes an exclusive location for romantic dinner.
