About this experience

Guided e-bike trip, which takes you out of the city of Varna to the scenic Franga Plateau cycling routes and coastal vineyards. Our ride starts and finishes at Varna Winery and follows a diverse route with changing horizons from the top of the hills to the Black Sea Ekrene Cape.
The wine tasting will be at the end of the cycling activity. The wine list represents the Mediterranean terroir along the Black Sea, which gives the best white grapes in Bulgaria.
Enjoy the secondary roads passing through the villages and experience the dirt roads amidst the farm fields and woodland. Prepare for a 32-km distance ride up and down the hills with average cycling pace.

Book 48 hours in advance and get ready for an e-bike adventure. Rent a trekking bicycle instead of an e-bike and get a bonus refund on arrival.

Varna City/Golden Sands - Wine Cellar Varna van transfer: approx. 25 min.
At the Wine Cellar -Varna: We'll have E-bike fitting, Safety Instruction meeting and Tour introduction(approx. 20 min). Everyone will test the ebike /trekking bike/ while cycling to the top of the hill at General Kantardjievo village. Cycling time: 20 min

The e-bikes will make your ride smoother and easy going on the hilly terrain and on the adventurous sections.

We keep riding on the flat plateau landscape, passing on some panoramic dirt roads to Osenovo village. Approx. riding time 40 min!
15-min rest stop in Osenovo at Sts. Kiril i Metodii Orthodox church with massive belfry decorated with Orthodox murals.

We cycle for 30 min to the panoramic view of the coastline at Ekrene Cape on the far northern end of Golden Sands Nature Park. In 10 min we arrive at Kranevo seaside resort and stop for 30 min break at local cafe. We'll have a refreshing drinks and then will keep cycling along the route.

Leaving Kranevo we keep riding to Varna Winery following a cart road for another 40 min. Once in the winery we'll have a time to rest and a time to taste! The wine tasting list includes 2 whites, 2 rose and 1 red wine as well as cheese and crackers. While walking through the cellar we'll have a wine-making presentation.

Mounting the e-bikes on the trailer, buying a bottle of wine(optional) and driving back to Varna/Golden Sands.
