This full day tour departs from the shop located in Vicolo S. Nicola De' Cesarini (Largo Argentina area, very close to Piazza Venezia) at 10:00 am. You'll hop aboard your Vespa driven from an experienced driver. Passing in front of mirable monuments like the Palatine hill, Circo Massimo and Caracalla Baths you'll leave the bustling Rome taking the Ancient Appian way toward the City of Frascati, a beautiful small town famous for the pictoreque vineyards that produce the worldwide known white vine "Frascati", and its wonderful ancient villas, antique properties of noble families like Aldobrandini; after a short and nice walking through the beautiful streets of the town, the ride, passing through a wonderful hilly landscape between meadows and woods, continues on to the charming Nemi, a pictoresque small village, where the strawberries grow rampant and the romantic small streets full of colorful and characteristic shops overlook the enchanting waters of the vulcanic lake that have hidden for centuries the ancient ships of Emperor Caligula. After a good lunch in a typical restaurant hop on Vespa again and surrounding the lake you'll reach the beautiful town of Ariccia where you can admire the Bernini's Church and Palace before driving toward Castel Gandolfo, the summer Pope's residence, placed on an hill with a fantastic view of the lake Albano and of the hills all around, here you'll have the opportunity for a quick "espresso" before driving back to Rome.
