Stop 1

The tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel and a short brief for the day. Later drive to Jallianwala Bagh. It’s a memorial park dedicated to 1000s of innocent people who were massacred by the Britishers in 1919. Listen to the heartbreaking stories and details from your guide.

Then you’ll visit the Saragarhi Memorial Gurudwara built in memory of the brave martyrs of the Battle of Saragarhi, one of the fiercest last-stands battles in history which was fought among 21 Sikh soldiers and 10000 Afghan tribesmen.

Stop 3

Next, you’ll walk to the holiest shrines of Sikhs, the Golden Temple. This 400-year-old gurudwara was originally founded by the fourth guru, Ram Das, and later on gold plated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh which eventually gave this place the name ‘golden’.

After the gurudwara, you’ll visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum to learn about the Sikh Empire. The Maharaja successfully built a united Sikh empire and fought Muslim invaders during his rule. After this intriguing visit comes snack time. Munch on delicious and authentic food such as Amritsari kulcha, fish, chicken, lassi, and more.
