Boston → Lost River Gorge (not visit during 9/20-10/30,Optional,90 mins) → Flume Gorge (Optional,120 mins) → Boston

From 9/20-10/30 will follow the maple season itinerary,we will not visit Lost River Gorge,and we will visit Kancamagus Highway instead.

Lost River Gorge only visit before 9/20
Discover the forest adventure trail, birdcage overlooks, treehouse, and suspension bridge of the Lost River Gorge! It is easily one of New Hampshire’s greatest natural wonders. Explore for yourself all that it has to offer and what makes this place so unique.

Flume Gorge
The Flume is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. The Flume Trail offers one, one-way trail along a stream, through a gorge, the main attraction, and throughout a forest! The entire loop takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete and ends at the Flume Building. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs. There is also a boardwalk that allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns, and mosses throughout Flume Gorge! All along the way, you get to explore many beautiful water features that will take your breath away!

The prime route for viewing fall foliage in the White Mountain National Forest is typically the mountainous section of New Hampshire Route 112, which runs from Lincoln to Conway. This stretch is known as the Kancamagus Highway. Winding through the White Mountain National Forest, the road offers stunning views of mountains and waterways, with numerous twists, turns, and elevation changes along the way. The area is also dotted with attractions accessible only via forest trails. As travelers make their way along the Kancamagus Highway, they are treated to spectacular vistas of vibrant red foliage blanketing the mountainsides—a truly magnificent and breathtaking sight.
