Depart from Chicago in the early morning to the picturesque Windmill Island, where the tulips are blooming in the world in May, and take you to appreciate the Windmill Island in spring. Strolling through Holland, a local tourist office guide takes us on a tour of this European-style town. Spring Saugatuck is also unique.

We will depart from Chicago in the early morning to the picturesque Windmill Island. During spring time, especially during the month of May-Between04/29/2025 and 05/16/2025, the tulips blossom at their fullest height forging an unforgettable scenery. Meanwhile, strolling through Holland, our local tour guide will take you on a tour of this European-style town in stead of ordinary itinerary.

Itinerary:

Chicago → Windmill Island Tulip Festival (Optional, 120 mins) → Holland (120 mins) → Chicago

Holland is a city famous for its Dutch heritage. In the 19th century, a group of Dutch immigrants settled down here. We will tour downtown Holland on foot with the guidance of a local guide who will show us around the Dutch-inspired architecture in the city as well as tell us stories about the immigrants and the traditions they brought here.

Saugatuck is a Michigan gem that fits the description of a "little beach town," offering pristine shoreline, strolling the oval beach and enjoying the spring sea breeze; on Butler Street in the city center, Taste unique local delicacies, take a leisurely tour of art galleries, and experience local customs.

Windmill Island has the world-famous “De Zwaan” (the swan), an authentic windmill (shipped from Netherland) with approximately 250 years history. We have plenty of time taking a walk around the beautiful gardens on the island.
