Take a short morning flight to Mikumi National Park, one of the most accessible safari parks from the island. Your adventure begins with a scenic flight and continues with a thrilling game drive in a 4WD safari vehicle, guided by a professional and knowledgeable local driver guide.

Mikumi is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, hippos and many more wild animals, making it an ideal spot for wildlife lovers. The park’s open plains and rich wildlife offer a "mini Serengeti" experience in just one day!

Enjoy a packed lunch in the heart of the park while surrounded by nature. You'll return by evening flight to Zanzibar, full of amazing memories and incredible photos.

Detailed itinerary

We start a game drive in a 4x4 modified safari vehicle exploring animals from your seat. Expect to see the major African great favorite mammals including elephant, giraffe, lion, buffalo, zebra, Leopard, hippo and many more.

Picnic lunch will be provided in the mid-day where by your guide selects a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink - a place with a clear view all round so that no predator can creep up hidden.

Late in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar
