The gondola ride travels through the Coronado Cays. The Coronado Cays is a small residential community with little canals and waterways similar to a modern Venice, Italy.

The gondola ride may navigate out of the canals and into the open bay for a view of The Coronado San Diego Bay Bridge and downtown San Diego. This is wind and weather permitted.
The gondola ride departs 4.5 miles south of the Hotel Del. You will pass it on your drive to our location and it is a great spot to stop after the gondola cruise is finished.

* When you arrive, your gondolier may be out on the water. Don't worry, he didn’t forget about you. If the doors are locked, and there is a note on the door, just relax on the balcony. He will return before your cruise, finish with his guests, sanitize the gondola, and then come greet you.
* If the doors are open, please check in for your cruise in the gondola office.
* We provide shared blankets. Please dress warmly, and if you like, you can bring your own blanket with you.
* A corkage fee for own beverages will be added for opening and/or the use of ice buckets, glassware, or wine openers.
* Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15-20%. Gratuities can be added to the credit card but we will only due so verbally, so if you would like to add a tip, please tell your gondolier. Many gondoliers can accept Venmo.
