At 8am, you will be picked up from your hotel or the Agra Cantt Railway Station (AGC) by a representative.

Stop 2

After warm welcome, board your private air-conditioned vehicle and begin your adventure with the magnificent Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays), a UNESCO World Heritage Site one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone – « undoubtedly the highlight of the tour ».

Stop 3

Once the clock strikes 11:30am, make your way to the Imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

Take a break for lunch at 1pm at one of the best local restaurants, suggested by your guide.

Finish lunch by 2:30pm so you may begin the 1-hour drive to Fatehpur Sikri. It has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day.

Evening, enjoy shopping in Agra, which happens to be known for its fabulous handicrafts. Major handicraft products besides inlay work include leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.
