Day 01 Kuala Lumpur - Cameron Highlands (Recommended hotel Cameron Resort). Drive time 3 hours.
8am Depart for Cameron Highlands enroute bonus stop iconic Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity honored during festivals. Ladies to cover their knees and shoulders.
Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with large tea plantations and farmlands, waterfalls, lakes, wildlife and aborigines.
Tea plantations are instrumental in drawing visitors to the highlands. Take a stroll through the plantations for photo shoot. Sip tea perched on an elevated tea cafe to catch a bird's eye view of the lush carpet of greenery ! The plantation works closely with WWF in the conservation of our endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs .....
Walk down the Vegetable market to see a showcase of vegetables, fruits and flowers grown in the Camerons. Also visit the Cactus Gardens and strawberry farm. Check in to hotel. Free and easy.
Day 2 Cameron Highlands - Taman Negara (Recommended hotel: Mutiara Resort)
7am Depart for Taman Negara and check in on arrival. Enjoy the jungle ambience. Free and easy.
8pm Join Nature Guide for Night Jungle walk to look for smaller animals as in spiders, snakes, wild boar, civet cats, slow loris.... Watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick.
Bring torch light with extra batteries,
Return to hotel and the forest orchestra plays on....
Day 03 Taman Negara Day Tour - Highlights
8am Jungle trek with Nature Guide to the viewpoint for a mesmerizing view of Gunung Tahan - Malaysia's highest mountain. Then catch a boat to shoot the rapids (gushing waters) to an aborigine village for a native demonstration on fire making and blowpipe hunting tactics. The aborigines are naive people and the rainforest is their supermarket.
Follow Guide trekking to a virgin rainforest Waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever.
Return to hotel. Free and easy.
Day 04 Taman Negara - Perhentian Islands (Drive time 5 hours)
6am Early departure for Perhentian/Redang Jetty to catch the boat to the Islands. Our Guide will identify the boats and ensure all is well before bidding farewell to you. Please obtain mobile phone numbers of boatman and hotel for easy communication. End of program.
