In the heart of Guadalest valley, where history and nature meet a winery with a rich history is born its tradition has endured through the centuries with references to vine cultivation at mas de Ondara already found in Jaume I’S “LLIBRE DE REPARTIMENT” FROM 1237.
Surrounded by century-old olive trees, the Mas de Ondara is part of the family project, which revives the oenological, agricultural and cultural roots of the Guadalest Valley through the rehabilitation of 4 century-old farmhouses and their estates. The Vidal Balaguer family, settled in this valley for generations, revives their winemaking tradition, after 100 years of neglect, with the opening of the winery in Benimantell.
