Ephesus is dated back to Roman Time and it was one of the biggest city of the ancient world. As one of the church of revelation, it housed St Paul, St John, St Timothy and Virgin Mary.
Great Theather was also used as an arena for Gladiator Fights. It has a capacity of 25k seats.
Celcius Library was the 3rd biggest library of ancient world. It is today the highlight of the city.
Colonated Street, Agora (Market Place), Odeon (concert house), Fountains, Monuments, Temples, Roman Baths and more are the other ruins that you will see in Ephesus.
