This Masterpiece was recently selected as one of Architecture's Bucket-list inclusions. Pittsburgh's Best Tour Guide will take you to its location astride Bear Run in the Laurel Highlands of the Allegheny Mountains.  Along the way you will learn the story of its architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the background of its patron Edgar Kaufmann, and the serendipity which brought it all together.

The route to Fallingwater takes you along America's Furst Superhighway - The Pennsylvania Turnpike. You'll learn the story of its construction including its links to the Erie Canal, Pennsylvania Railroad, Brooklyn Bridge, and Adolf Hitler's Autobahn.

Ten minutes from the entrance to Fallingwater are the scenic Ohiopyle Falls of the Youghiogheny River. You'll pass under the Great Allegheny Passage - the Best Hiking and Biking Trail in the World - to get there.

Ten minutes from Fallingwater, you will pass under the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) the best hiking and biking trail; in the world. Starting in Pittsburgh it travels through the Allegheny Mountains to Cumberland, MD where it links with the C&O Canal Towpath to Georgetown, MD and Washington, DC.
