Holbox Island Tour "A Natural Paradise"

Description:

Specially designed for those who are staying in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel or Tulum so they do not miss the opportunity to know the wonderful Holbox Island in a day without necessarily having to stay there. Holbox Island, one of the beauties of the world, is located on the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico and is within the boundaries of the wildlife protection area called "Yum Balam "which is an ecological reserve. To the east it borders Cabo Catoche and Laguna Yalahau separates it from the mainland. Holbox Island measures 43 kms. long and its beaches of fine sand are constantly adorned with the seashells that drag the current of the clear jade-colored sea that bathes the island. Isla Holbox is only about 2 hours from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and the Riviera Maya.

Chiquilá:

Then we will go to the next stop in Chiquilá (10 min by road) there our boats with their respective captains and professional guides will be waiting for you to start the visit of Isla Birds and Isla Passion ideal place to contemplate an infinity of different varieties of tropical birds as well as pink flamingos

Cenote Yalahau:

The beautiful Yalahau Lagoon is a natural paradise surrounded by mangroves and separates Holbox Island from the mainland.

Birds Island (passion island):

Also in the lagoon is Isla Morena, also called Isla Pájaros, which is the home of more than 140 species of birds that make their nests. It is common to find on the island Ibis Blancas, Frigates, White Egrets, Double-crested Cormorants, White Pelicans, Red Egrets, Pink Spatulas, Herons, Gray Pelicans and Pink Flamingos among others.

Holbox Island:

We are not finished yet, since after the meal, we will invite you to meet and tour in golf carts (4 people maximum per cart) for an hour and a half from 2 pm to 3.30 pm, the wonderful Holbox Island, its sandy streets, its people and its fishing village. Since ancient times, Holbox Island was already considered a place of extreme beauty and was used as a place of comfort and relaxation by the ancient Maya. When the Spaniards arrived in the 16th century, they found the abandoned Holbox Island, but as before, they were amazed at its unique beauty.

It includes:

Transportation from Cancun or Playa del Carmen to Chiquila in Van with air conditioning and television.

Visit the town of Chiquila to have breakfast for everyone on their own (Empanadas de Cazon y Raya)

Boat trip for more than 3 hours with a trip to a cenote and two islands:

Entrance Cenote Yalahau which is a spring or water eye (Cenote for bathing). Passion Island (Isla Pajaros) to see nature and mangroves and walk around the Island to climb the viewpoint that you will love
