Starting with a classic Neapolitan tradition: a coffee and a warm sfogliatella.
Then we will immerse ourselves in the beating heart of the city, Spaccanapoli, the most famous decumanus of Naples. We will go up through one of the most iconic streets, San Gregorio Armeno and inside one of its shops we will travel through the eyes of one of its best-known craftsmen to discover an ancient craft that is still alive today. We will continue with a visit inside the Church of San Gregorio Armeno, an excellent example of Neapolitan Baroque.
Then we will enter to San Lorenzo Maggiore, a church where a coronation, a consecration, a secret burial and even a forbidden love are said to have taken place.
And after revealing some of the secrets and mysteries we will walk along via dei Tribunali towards the church of Santa Maria delle Anime del Purgatorio ad Arco where we will discover the cult of pezzentelle souls and finishing in front of the Pietrasanta bell tower, the oldest in the city.

Today via San Gregorio Armeno is known all over the world as the exhibition center of the craft shops located here that now all year round make figurines for nativity scenes, both canonical and original (usually every year the most eccentric artisans make figurines with the features of characters of stringent topicality that perhaps stood out positively or negatively during the year).

Precisely because it is a road structure originating from ancient Greece, it would be more appropriate to speak of plateia and not of "decumanus", a name from the Roman era which by convention replaced the original.
It is the bell tower of the Pietrasanta church in Naples1, to which it belongs as the only remnant of the primitive version, from which it remains isolated with a facade open to via Tribunali and yet another on via del Giudice.
