This natural oasis is home to two beautiful lakes that are connected by waterfalls and is one of the most popular destinations in Fayoum. The area is protected as a nature reserve.

Visitors can swim in the waterfalls' waters, explore the surrounding desert landscape, or simply relax and take in the natural beauty of the area.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known as the Valley of the Whales or Wadi Al-Hitan. 40-million years ago this area used to be an ocean and is now home to the fossils of ancient marine creatures, including the remains of a whale that had legs. It's a unique and fascinating glimpse into the past.

After witnessing the wonders of the Valley of Whales, we'll head back to the Wadi El Rayan area to head to Qusoor Al Arab - a desert camp where you can observe a wonderful phenomenon occur. That being the silhouette of the nearby mountains appearing as castles of old Arabic origin due to their natural formations.

Afterward, you'll head to the Magic Lake - This serene oasis is surrounded by towering sand dunes and is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the desert landscape. The lake is fed by natural hot springs, which make for a rejuvenating swim as well.
