Devils Tower is home to some of the finest trad multipitch climbing in the western US. The Tower features an incredible concentration of world class crack climbs, with routes ranging from classic moderates to challenging test pieces established by some of the biggest names in American climbing history. Devils Tower also holds a great deal of cultural significance to many indigenous people in the high plains, and for that reason we observe the voluntary climbing closure during the month of June and encourage other climbers to do so.
