The volcanic landscape of Fuerteventura's mountainous interior goes far beyond its sun-soaked beaches. And there's no better way to navigate this rugged terrain is on this full-day 4x4 tour.
Heading off-road onto hairpin tracks, you'll bump around the lunar-like landscapes of the Roque de Moro, one of the island's highest volcanic peaks. Here, you'll get breathtaking views over the buffeted west coast before dropping down to Cofete. This mostly abandoned village is home to the mysterious Winter Villa – rumoured to have been a Nazi hideout after World War II.
There'll be a photo stop on Cofete beach, and, if the weather's right, extra beach time on the east coast, before you make your way to El Puertito. The perfect chance to look around, swim or grab a bite to eat. The final stop of the day is at Punta de Jandia, Fuerteventura's southern tip. Stand at the edge of the island where the ocean meets the sky, rounding off the tour by soaking in show-stopping views.
