Begin your adventure as we depart from Santa Marta city, heading towards Anna's house.

Immerse yourself in the traditions of the Arhuaco people. Meet Anna, a member of the Arhuaco community, who will share insights into their customs, culture, and the role of women in their society.

After meeting Anna and her family, we leave her house and travel a short distance to the Don Diego River.

Start of Hike to Tayronaka Ruins:

Park the vehicle at Don Diego River and begin your scenic hike to the Tayronaka Ruins. Enjoy walking through lush tropical forests, taking in the sights and sounds of nature along the way.

Explore Tayronaka Ruins:

Explore the ancient ruins of Tayronaka, a historical site once inhabited by the Tayrona civilization. Discover terraces, the engineering marvels of the site, and a small museum to learn about the region’s rich history.
