The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, and design inspiration was borrowed parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt among other Islamic countries, revealing a glistening architectural marvel with an astonishing capacity of 40,000 worshippers and visitors.

Wahat Al Karama, which is also known by its English translation Oasis of Dignity, is a war memorial and monument in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates located across Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to commemorate all Emiratis who are killed in the line of duty.

Designed by British female architect and Pritzker Prize winner, Dame Zaha Hadid, the striking 842-metre-long, 64-metre-high Sheikh Zayed Bridge is said to be the most complex bridge ever built.

Its curved arches evoke undulating sand dunes and it features a dynamic lighting design, with subtle colours that flow across its spine. Its road decks are suspended from symmetrical steel arches, creating a wave-form with a fluid silhouette.
