Ideally located in Morocco, in Ouarzazate, CLA Studios takes advantage of the assets of the region. Varied landscapes, from the desert to the oases, passing by the mountainous reliefs and the green plains, that under an omnipresent sun, in the extraordinary light.

It's no wonder that internationally acclaimed directors like David Lean, Bernardo Bertolucci, Martin Scorsese, Ridlye Scott or Oiliver Stone chose CLA Studios as their location.

2
Stop 2

Aït-ben-Haddou is located in the Ounila valley, south of Télouet, fief of Glaoui, valley which was a traditional crossing point for caravans connecting Marrakech to the south of the Sahara, ocher and pink earth overlooking a peaceful oasis and green. On its foothills hang houses that seem to come from the depths of the ages

This is a striking example of the architecture of traditional southern Morocco, on the side of a hill at the top of which was a collective granary (an agadir). The village is presented as a set of earthen buildings surrounded by walls, the ksar, which is a type of traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The houses are grouped inside its defensive walls reinforced by corner towers.
