A beautiful coastal towns with a wonderful beach and green coconut plantations. The beach is home for many migratory birds and you may also see dolphins from the beach. The Taqah Castle is a fully restored 19th century mudbrick fort which was a residence of the governor in the past.

Samharam Archeological Site (UNESCO)

A UNESCO World Heritage Site that is one of the most important ancient cities of Khor Rori that was part of the Frankincense Trade Route and flourished trading frankincense with India, China and other Arab states.
