About this experience

The DISCOVERING THE SOUTH FUERTEVENTURA TOUR is the best way to discover the marvelous central-southern area of the island through an excursion carried out with a minivan for a maximum of 8 passengers.

Crossing typical and characteristic villages, we will stop for an excellent tasting of typical products in one of the local farms.

Passing by Betancuria, with its passages in nature and incredibly charming panorama, we will visit the natural caves of Ajuy, a small fishing village where we can spend free time on the black beach or taste the dishes of the local cuisine.

We will continue the journey in a south-easterly direction towards the Costa Calma area, 18 km of white beach in the famous Playa di Sotavento, to relax a little longer and enjoy the sunny day.

It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes, for breaks at the sea bring the necessary for the beach. In case of wind it is preferable to have a sweatshirt with you.

Passing through typical and characteristic villages, we will stop in one of the local farms where we will accompany you for an excellent tasting of typical products.

We will visit the farm, the animal area and the production area of QUESO MAJORERO, the famous goat's cheese from FUERTEVENTURA.

Possibility to purchase typical food and wine products of the CANARY ISLANDS.

We stop at a wonderful panoramic point at 600m above sea level where we can admire the typical beauty of Fuerteventura.

We will travel along one of the island's panoramic roads, famous for its hairpin bends and differences in altitude, a road used by great two-wheel lovers.

We will pass the old historical capital BETANCURIA (non stop), to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of one of the most mountainous areas of Fuerteventura.

We will visit the natural caves of Ajuy, a small fishing village where we can spend free time on the black beach or savor local dishes.

Possibility of lunch in restaurants with special prices.

We will continue our journey to go further south, crossing the island from west to east to arrive at Playa de Sotavento, 18 km of white beach famous for its kite and wind surfing world championships.
Here we will relax a little longer to enjoy the sunny day.
