About this experience

This tour to Vesuvius including shuttle bus and entrance ticket is an unique opportunity to visit the crater comfortably. You can find our infopoint near the Ercolano Scavi railway station (Circumvesuviana EAV line), so that you can consult maps, ask for information and receive the assistance you need for your trip! If you travel by car, we will direct you to a nearby parking lot. We are welcoming, eager to please and will answer all of your questions.
From atop the mountain it is possible to admire the crater interior and a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. Be advised that in case of good weather touristic presence can be quite heavy. Our Mount Vesuvius experience is quick and easy: this reservation will allow you to skip the usual line, and you will be given a specific bus departure time. We're waiting for you!

You will leave from our info point to reach 1000mt altitude in less than 30 minutes for a 1 hour and 40 minute stop during which you can go up the path no. 5 of the Gran Cono, admiring the breath of the volcano and the panorama of the Gulf of Naples. You can stop in one of the small shelters for a coffee - extra - and a bit of relaxation, to recharge and continue the walk. The bus will be waiting for you to return to the station square and to continue your visits perhaps to the Archaeological Park of Ercolano. This is the only opportunity to go up to Vesuvius and above all with the entrance ticket included that allows you to plan your trip in advance and not run into last minute problems, being every day always sold out. Please note: the scheduled entrance could be postponed for reasons of force majeure related to the influx of daily bookings, therefore we ask for patience and understanding, for us the important thing is to be able to let you enjoy the crater!

Meeting point at our I Point Ercolano office 30 minutes before the official departure. We are located 20 meters to the right past the exit of the Ercolano Scavi train station, reachable from Naples via the train to Poggiomarino Via Scafati, or from Sorrento via the train to Naples. Send a message via whatsapp once you have finished to complete your reservation, thank you!

NOTE: trains headed to Sorrento from Naples will not stop at the Ercolano Scavi station due to a temporary service variation. In case you find yourself on such a ride, get off at Torre Annunziata and take a train headed back to Naples; trains to Naples from Torre Annunziata will stop at every station, including Ercolano Scavi.
