Once in the city our first destination to visit will be the majestic volcano of San Salvador. We will climb to the top of this volcano, from where we will have beautiful landscapes of the city of San Salvador. The city of San Salvador rests at the foot of this huge volcano. From this first viewpoint, we can observe the lake of Ilopango, the Volcano of San Vicente, and if the weather permits, we can observe the Pacific Ocean. Without a doubt, an unmissable visit.
We will continue until we reach the top of the volcano. The El Boquerón National Park is located on the crater of the San Salvador volcano. The name refers to the size of the huge volcanic crater. Arrive at the crater take about 10 minutes through a walk in the middle of lush vegetation, full of beautiful seasonal flowers. The difficulty of the 10 minute walk is medium - low. When you reach the top you can be seduced by the scenic beauty of this magnificent volcanic crater full of vegetation. We will continue with a visit to the city of San Salvador, knowing the most important monuments of the city, crossing the streets and avenues of the most modern metropolitan area. All the way to the Historic Center of San Salvador.
