About this experience

Mateus Palace was built in the XVIII century and has a close relationship with the world of the wines.

You will start your historical experience with a visit to Mateus Palace in Vila Real, where you can relive the past with the stories of the Count and his secret gardens.

Thereafter, we will move on towards Pinhão to visit the wine villages and the viewpoint. It will be a moment to remember and to recognize why Douro is one of the most beautiful vineyards landscapes in the world.

Arrived at the station of Pinhão, let yourself embark on a short journey to a wine estate where the lunch will be served with a wine pairing.

The return journey will be in a private boat, where you will enjoy this unique trip in the waters of the Douro River with some surprises on board.
